The Manifestation of Being

Splashes of colour and traces of hope compound this canvas. Manifesting positive emotions can help foster change in yourself and the world around us. The work aims to push the boundaries of the status quo encouraging the viewer to see beyond the present and strive for a better future.

Sightless Colour

This painting represents a looming bleakness shaped by our interactions with water and its impending scarcity. The juxtaposition of vibrant and dark colours suggests a stranglehold that cannot be escaped.

Beyond the Echoes of Reality

The space between reality and imagination brings to focus the unseen, the things we cannot see and things we do not want to. The blacks, blues, and hints of yellow have evolved into a painting riddled with vertical and horizontal lines. Are you able to read in between the lines?

The Impasse

This painting represents lack of progress overshadowed by gigantic red arms that suggest the challenges we need to overcome to achieve equality for all.

Abundance

This artwork represents the transition between the present and future. The swooshing motions signify the fluidity and freedom of water, yet its broken cycle and red tones signal a change.

Dark Interactions

Each step away from water edges us towards a bleaker existence. This painting intends to show our negative relationship with water rooted in abstract expressionism. The flicker of light and dark, the various shapes, and colours mostly notably the small amount of blue demonstrates the lack of water overpowered by dark forces. Not only is there a sense of absence, but the shadowy yellows that beam through provide an ominous backdrop.
